Astro created his first graffiti art in 2000 in the northern suburb of Paris.

Focusing on lettering and Wildstyle at first, this self-taught and passionate artist brings his knowledge and technique towards an abstract art which mixes curves, calligraphy and dynamic shapes.

Inspired by artists such as Hartung, Vasarely and Mucha, Astro has created his own world by exploiting the subtlety of shadows and lights, the strength of colours, and the perspective of depths.

At ease with large formats, through walls on which he inscribed his art in the heart of the city, this muralist also likes working in a studio. Thanks to the spontaneous and impulsive imprint which characterizes him, Astro deceives the viewer’s eye by distorting the flatness of facades and paintings, creating impressive optical illusions.

His energy and his originality make Astro one of the major street artists, as shown by his presence at many international festivals ( USA, London, Italy, Germany, Portugal…). Astro is now part of the CBS crew from Los Angeles.

Astro réalise ses premiers graffitis en 2000 dans la banlieue nord de Paris.

Privilégiant le Lettrage et le Wildstyle à ses débuts, cet artiste autodidacte et passionné emmène son savoir-faire et sa technique vers un art abstrait qui mêle courbes, calligraphie et formes dynamiques.

En s’inspirant d’artistes tels que Hartung, Vasarely ou Mucha, Astro a su créer son propre univers en exploitant notamment la subtilité des ombres et des lumières, la force des couleurs et la perspective des profondeurs.

A l’aise sur grands formats, au travers des murs sur lesquels il inscrit son art au coeur de la ville, ce muraliste affectionne également le travail en atelier. Grâce à son tracé spontané et impulsif qui le caractérise, Astro trompe l’oeil du spectateur en déformant la planitude des façades et des toiles, créant ainsi des illusions d’optique impressionnantes.

Son souffle et son originalité font d’Astro un artiste incontournable du street-art,en témoignage sa présence dans de nombreux festivals internationaux.
Il fait désormais parti du collectif CBS, originaire de Los Angeles.
